Community Resiliency Indicator Workshop Organized by MCGM


The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) had organized a workshop on “Community Resiliency Indicator “(CRI) at B.Y.L. Nair—Dental Hospital on 18th October 2013.
 
The introductory session of the Workshop was conducted by Mr S.S. Shinde (Jt. Municipal Commissioner and Project Director, DRMMP, MCGM). This session aimed at sensitizing the participants in CRIs methodology.

Dr Mrs Leena Gadkari, Steering Committee Member of Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management, conducted training in the area of functioning and implementation of the entire process of CRI.

Mrs Indrani Malkani, Trustee of V Citizen’s Action Network, also guided the participants.

The Workshop emphasized that to enhance the resiliency of any community towards disaster, joint efforts from all sections of society viz., responders, trainers and governmental / non-governmental organizations are essential.

Approximatly 70 representatives from Government Organisations like NDRF, the Police, Fire Brigade, and NGOs participated in the workshop.

ll Hari Om ll The following write up is the extract from the speech of Maha-dharma-varman Dr. Yogindrasinh Joshi's Aniruddha Poornima speech where he has clearly described the origin and importance of TRIVIKRAM . Trivikram is Anirruddha Himself, the Omkar, the Paramshiv, the Mahavishnu . It is the Gun Pratik (symbol) of Lord Harihar. Tri means three and Vikram means victory or to win over. The program would be carried in two sessions. In each session the Ghorkashtodharan Stotra would be chanted for 108 times.  Following are the details for the program.
