This Every human being has bond
to share with every other. The awareness of this bond makes us to reach out,
hold the hand, and touch the heart. Some of us rely on touch, much more than
others. They are special, differently able. We refer here to our visually
challenged kin. They do without sight, the faculty that is supposed to
communicate to us, 80% of the information of the world around. They struggle;
they toil, but never lose heart. They study undeterred by the delay in getting
text books in Braille, they study undeterred by the lack of teachers. They
strive to be independent in every sense.
Our Nandai is expert is Braille
and She had taught Braille for 3 years.
Aniruddha’s Bank for the Blind’,
a joint activity of the `Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation’ and ‘Aniruddha
Aadesh Pathak’, is committed to bond, by way of offering service to humanity.
Initiated by the grace and blessings of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu, this
`bank’ stores knowledge in the form of audio cassettes and CDs that are based
on the curriculum of school, college and university study. The recorded
material is given free of cost to the students.
As of this moment apart from regular academic syllabi, the bank has recorded course material for acupressure, massage, etc. conducted by `National Association for the Blind’ (NAB) as also for technical courses like motor coil winding and lathe training, i.e. courses that will equip the visually challenged to become independent and lead them to feel the joy of contributing to the society. Also visually challenged students studying for banking examinations, for the LLB course, post graduation courses in various subjects have also received audio material as per request.

The recording is done by
volunteers in the office of Aniruddha’s Bank for the Blind’ or in their homes.
The volunteers trained in recording and editing (meticulously eliminating
unwanted and disturbing sounds). The CDs are then checked and delivered to
beneficiaries.

Aniruddha's Bank for the Blind
(ABB) is an organization dedicated to the service of the visually challenged. Functioning like a 'bank',
it stores knowledge in the form of audio CDs that record the academic
syllabus of educational and technical institutions and makes these CD's
available free of cost to visually challenged students.
It is a joint activity/project of
the `Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation’, ‘Aniruddha Samarpan Pathak’ and
‘Shree Aniruddha Aadesh Pathak’, committed towards offering service to the
visually challenged.
Aniruddha's Bank for the Blind
aims to lend support to the visually challenged in attaining economic
independence apart from contributing to their confidence as citizens of
society. Helping to realize their desire to surmount their disability and to
not be deterred by it, It assures them of study hours that do not require the presence
of readers thus making the joy of independent study.
